The International Database of Ignitable Liquids is a compilation of reference ignitable liquid information, characterization data, and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry data for use by forensic analysts to conduct fire debris analysis.  The database was developed by the National Center for Forensic Science and the Fire and Explosions Investigation working group of the European Network of Forensic Science Institutes (ENFSI FEIWG).  It is hosted by the National Center for Forensic Science at the University of Central Florida.

Currently, data is collected from contributors from the Europe, Oceania, and North America who perform fire debris analysis.  The database is intended to be an international fire debris community resource.  Classification of the igntiable liquids follows ASTM E1618, Standard Test Method for Ignitable Liquid Residues in Extracts from Fire Debris Samples by Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry.  For inquires about the data, methods, or classification, please contact the contributing laboratory.  There are many fields in which the user can search the records for particular ignitable liquid data.
